Can the same be said for the rest of Africa or perhaps Europe and the States?
My entire modeling career has always been in South Africa simply because I am involved in other things and not only modeling so it is very difficult for me to travel specifically for modeling. I have worked with a lot of clients from all over the world, photographers from Germany and I did a show for Tommy Hilfiger when he was in the country. Jamati: I understand that this is the first year in which African designers have been invited to Paris Fashion Week. To me that is ridiculous!! Why has Paris or the West for that matter taken so long to recognize our talent or do we even need the recognition? I don’t think the recognition is that important. We have to grow ourselves within the African Continent first. We can utilize the talent in the fashion industry by simply being proud Africans. Jamati: Max do you have any plans on moving to Europe or the States. I mean would it not be greater exposure for you or do you think that keeping South Africa as your base is the best way to go in terms
