Can the Ruger Mini-14 sustain battle use?
I’m wondering if the Ruger Mini-14 rifle can sustain battle use, like in a war zone? My neighbor next door owns one and that is his home defense gun, he dumped his AR-15 and says that his Mini-14 is more rugged and reliable. I’m still not sure if his opinion is true, maybe it is or maybe not. Will a Ruger Mini-14 sustain repeated use in a combat situation without a tragic or partial failure of the rifle? I own both the Ruger Mini 14 and several Ar15 rifle’s…… Overall I will take a Ruger Mini 14 hands down over any AR15 if the crap hits the fan…. They are more reliable, easier to unjam in the rare case they do, are plenty accurate and are much more polite looking……. Let me explain about what I mean by polite looking…. If society went sour in a bad way and you want out of the city an AR15 in your hands would automatically make you a target….. The Ruger Mini 14 with a wood stock to the uninformed looks like a harmless .22 rifle…. This of course could give you a tactical advantage…. Others
