The Roscoby is highly water resistant, but not waterproof. The camera can be used in the rain and can get wet while being used in the field. Depending on the weather you may choose not to insert the microphone so that you can close and seal the microphone port to help keep moisture out of the camera housing. If moisture does get inside the camera, please bring it indoors to a dry location, remove the batteries and let the camera air dry. Do not use a heat source to dry the camera as this could damage the electronics.
