Can the rope light be used outdoors?
Yes – ETL approved for indoor and outdoor use. May be used as an architectural accent, indirect lighting, on stairs, stair rails, windows, stages, exhibits, displays, night clubs, pools, spas, patio areas, in landscapes etc. When used outdoors, be sure that all connections are properly sealed with silicon. One very interesting application is having the Rope Light connected to a motion sensor used under cabinets in the kitchen.

When used outdoors under heavy use or in damp areas, we recommend the use of our rope light glue or another silicon based sealant.
