Can the roaring twenties be considered the first modern age?
In each period of history there has been reference to a modern age. In the 17th century this was considered the Renaissance, and going back to my distant school days, The industrial revolution was considered the modern age. I would have though that this would be more so than the 1920,s, but this would be a matter of presenting appropriate arguments.
