Can the ribbons be tied in a bow or around the waist of the invitation?
After much experience, we have determined that the best way to tie the ribbons is with our simple cross-over ties. Ribbons tied in a bow are undesirable for a couple reasons: The ribbon will inevitably get smashed in the mail and will not make the impression you had tried to achieve; and the bow often jams the postal machines, often destroying the envelope/invitation. The invitations may never make it to your guests! Our cross-over ribbons stay nice and neat, lie flat, and do not get jammed in the postal machines.
