It is important for residents to be involved consistently in their daily therapeutic program to maximize their improvement. Additionally, some funding sources discourage this practice. Failure to attend therapeutic programming may impact the residents rehabilitative progress and payor funding. Because of these factors, we discourage residents from leaving campus during the day for non-medical reasons.
