Can the requiring agency receive credit for issuing a PBA task order under a GSA Schedule contract?
A44 Yes. The requiring/ordering agency can receive credit for PBA task orders. All GSA contracts for services have been established to enable the issuance of performance-based task orders. To issue a PBA task order against GSA Schedule contracts simply prepare a statement of objectives (SOO) or a performance work statement (PWS) and send it to the vendors your tactical market research has identified as being the best sources. You could contact those vendors in advance, as well, to make sure they’re prepared to submit a PBA proposal.
