Can the renter waive the responsibility in case of damages?
Rental charges include Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). CDW is not a coverage but a limitation of responsibility, in the case of damages due to accidents, wrecks, due to tempted theft or partial theft as well as fire or partial fire, to a variable maximum amount which depends on the rented vehicle group. Driver’s responsability can be reduced or eliminated by undersigning the option ‘Total/Partial Collision Damage Waiver’ SKO. For further details, please refer to General Terms & Conditions.
