Can the Renault Master be driven on a standard licence?
Yes: Anyone with a standard driving licence can drive the Renault Master, including 17 year olds who have just passed their driving test. Does the Renault Master need a special MOT test? No: The Renault Master only requires a standard van MOT certificate, it does not need the advanced test associated with larger transporters. What size horses can the Renault Master conversion carry? We recommend any horse up to 16.2 hands, however the weight restrictions on a fully laden box carrying two 16.2 hand horses may come into play. The free working weight left once the conversion has been completed is approx. 1250 kilos.
