Can the radiation exposure from ISR cause cancer?
No. Epidemiological studies have shown that ISR operations do not increase the risk of cancer. (Boice, Mumma, Schweitzer, Blot: “Cancer mortality in a Texas county with prior uranium mining and milling activities, 1950-2001”; Journal of Radiological Protection, 2003.)
