Can the purchase price of product be different than the face value of the printed ticket or the price paid if purchased at the destination?
Yes. Event tickets (sports, concerts, theatre) in particular may be marked up with handling or service fees, so the purchase price may be above the face value. It is also possible that you will be able to purchase discounted tickets that are sold below the face value. Most other A & E products are sold at normal retail prices.
