Can the Purchase Card be used for annual services?
A. After having determined that a base maintenance contract does not exist for a particular piece of equipment, you may enter into an extended maintenance agreement where the total of the agreement is less than $2500 annually for direct purchase; or $25,000 for payments against existing contracts/GSA schedules etc that allow such ordering. The contracting office can also issue BPAs to facilitate cardholder ordering in the $2,500-$25,000 range where business volume indicates a need.
