A. No. It must be remembered that the pura DYN ® System is installed as an accessory to the engine oil lubrication system. This is a by-pass system, which means that the pura DYN ® System is down stream of the full flow oil filter and does not come between the oil pump and any moving part of the engine. If the heater element stops working or if the pressure inlet hose strainer becomes blocked for any reason it would only result in the oil becoming gradually contaminated, as it would under normal engine operation without a pura DYN ® System. Oil analysis would detect this problem so that it could be corrected. A properly installed pura DYN ® System cannot in any way obstruct the flow of oil to the engine’s moving parts or lower oil pressure or harm the engine in any way.
