A16: Yes, the PRV-LX1 has the ability to record in multiple bit rates using VBR – Variable bit rate. The recorder has 32 video encode rate settings. Bit rate settings range between 9.64 mbps (setting 32) which represents the highest video quality to 1.43 (setting 1) which represents the lowest video quality but longest recording time. The user can change the video bit rate setting for each record session. However, you cannot use more than one bit rate setting in the same recording session.
