Can the primary and secondary resident switch status?
A. The primary and secondary residents can switch status if the secondary has resided in the apartment for 12 months as of December 1, 2008. The secondary resident will be offered a rental agreement as the primary resident with the same term (month-to-month or fixed) that he/she had as the secondary resident. The primary resident will be offered a rental agreement as the secondary resident with a one year term. Please contact the Residential Services Office to complete the paperwork.
