Can the Power of Prayer Heal the Body?
For many people, science and religion take very different paths and are exclusive of each other. On one side, are those who believe that faith in the power of prayer are enough to heal the body of disease, and that medicine may not be all that it is cranked up to be. On the other side, some scientists and a growing number of people believe that there is no proof that the power of prayer can assist in the healing of the human body. Does this mean that praying is a waste of time as it does no one any good? Surely not! The act of praying is not simply asking the creator for certain things and hoping for the best. Praying has to come either from somewhere in the soul, if you are a religious person, or deep inside the mind, if you have a more skeptical nature.
