Can the Plaintiff serve discovery, interrogatories and request for admission docs inside the courthouse?
I was given all the these docs right outside the court room after the first case management conference. I did not sign for them, and the person who gave them to me is the plaintiff and the Attorney suing me and my company. The proof of service letter I received several days later says that the attorney’s assistant served me the papers that day but she did not attend the CMC. The case is being held in the the county of Santa Clara in California. I am also having trouble finding the required forms to respond.
