Can the Pet Door Design system fit in larger three and four panel sliding doors?
Yes. The same rules apply here as noted above when panels slide past each other. For models with three panels, its common to have a fixed panel on one end that does not have a sliding panel crossing its path. The system can be installed in this fixed panel if desired. • Q – Will the Pet Door Design insert work in windows and swinging doors? The system is designed and built to replace common sized thermal pane glass. Some restrictions apply, but we can build units for a variety of applications to include sliding windows, picture windows and swinging doors. Tell us what you want to do.
