Can the permit process be expedited?
Currently, the Flood Control Permit Section does not have a fast track system to expedite permits. The best way to ensure a rapid turnaround of your review is to follow the items on the Permit Application Checklist prior to initial permit submittal and to respond to the Districts review comments in an expeditious manner. The Permittee and/or their representatives are encouraged to schedule office or field meetings to discuss specific issues, comments or other concerns regarding the proposed permit activity prior to or during the permit review process.
