The PC100 terminal primarily communicates over RS232 communications or using a standard 9-pin serial port. Special adapters can be purchased to convert a USB Port to a Serial Port or create a virtual serial port using TCP/IP technology. The PC100 does not have the capability of communicating over a telephone line. The PC400M has modem capabilities but requires PayClock Pro.
