A.) No. The TURBO VL chip only works with the VL70-m. It is NOT compatible with any other synth. If you want to use the TURBO VL sounds, you will need to get a VL70-m. Patchman Music sells the Yamaha VL70-m with the TURBO VL chip pre-installed with full factory warranty here.
