Not out of the box. We do not support modification or use beyond the intended use of the product. We did some experimenting at the Fence Farm ™. The safety feature that reverses the gate must be considered with lift gates. We tried counter-balances on the gate and did get it working quite well. We wouldn’t recommend it though.
