Can the Onyx 800R be used as a stand alone A/D Converter?
Yes! You can input mic or line level signals into the Onyx 800R and use the digital outputs as a high quality converter. This way it can act as the interface to your DAW hardware. For example, if you use a computer interface with ADAT optical inputs, the 800R could be used as the analog front end for a killer sounding system.
