Can the Nucleo RAM Cache value be overridden?
Nucleo performs a calculation when After Effects is started that takes into consideration the amount of memory that After Effects and the operating system are using. The remaining memory is divided evenly between the Nucleo processes. The Resource Settings dialog displays the value that Nucleo’s processes use for their RAM Cache. The calculation can be overridden with a fixed value by editing a text Nucleo configuration file. The value chosen will remain constant but you may need to experiment to find the best value for your system – you will need to balance the amount of memory used with the amount of physical RAM in the system. Here are the instructions to make the change.
