I think it depends, since on a lot of different headphones can be changed battery. As far as I know, you can change it freely however if your headphones can’t handle this, I believe it’s better if you will find some headphones that can do the work. However, not so long ago I’ve faced the same problem ( I am a trucker) but I found an article where are 8 tips for 8 headphones with pros and cons that you may want to know.
