Yes. The MVP-2000(r) is equipped with RS-232 communication ports which can be used to control all system functions. However, it is important to realize that when transferring large files such as MPEG files, using the RS-232 port will result in substantially longer transfer times. It is strongly recommended that the Ethernet access port on the MVP-2000(r) be used whenever possible.
