Yes, if projected usage of the SERF does not conflict with the simulation schedule since they cannot be run simultaneously. Using a single system for both functions makes configuration control of the database more difficult. Sufficient disk storage for the current run-time databases as well as development source data and databases under test, is also a consideration.
