Can the MiniSpin/MiniSpin plus be operated in a cooling room?
The centrifuges can be operated in ambient conditions of 10 – 40 °C. The permitted relative humidity must not exceed 75 %. When transferring the centrifuge from a colder into a warmer environment, the centrifuge must either be allowed to run warm for a half an hour in the cooling room or it must be allowed to warm up in the warmer environment for at least 3 hours. During this time, it must not be connected to a power source. In order to avoid damage from condensation, centrifuges should generally not be submitted to frequent temperature changes.
