Yes, although the MetroLAN can be use in a more complex SDH enviroment, it can also be used in the simple application of passing Multiple E1 (up to 8 E1 and up to 8 Ethernet Lan) over dark fibre with one MetroLan at each end of the fibre link. To make this even easier a configuration wizard helps set up the required configuration information.
