• Do not defragment/compress the Memory Stick drive because these tools are exclusive to a hard disk. • Defragmentation repeats reading/writing continually, and it will shorten the life of the built-in flash memory in the Memory Stick. • The Memory Stick is not compatible with drive compression. If you compress the Memory Stick drive, it may become unreadable.
