A. Yes. The user must always ensure that the voltage levels at INM and INP are above VSS and below VDD. If extra gain is necessary, the op amps in the DOP can be used to implement an analog gain stage, which will result in converting a differential signal to a single-ended signal. The output of this gain stage can then be fed into the ADC for conversion, or the op-amp output can be directly converted using one of the ADC-loopback conversion modes.
