We do not currently offer any accessories that would allow you to do this, however there are other sources for power that may be used to allow you to use this in a handheld mode of operation. A portable 12 volt battery with cigarette lighter socket may be used to power the Magellan RoadMate. These specialty battery packs may be found at stores that supply rechargeable 12 volt batteries such as gell cell.
