Can the Mac OS X 10.6: Snow Leopard upgrade be installed on 2 computers?

Yes. Not a question about it. Unlike Windows, Mac OS X does not require a key to be installed. But, even a serial number wouldn’t stop you from installing Leopard on more than one computer. The only difference between a Snow Leopard Family Pack and a Snow Leopard Single License is what’s written in the EULA (End-User License Agreement). The EULA in the $29 version states that OS X may only be installed on one computer, while the Family Pack grants the User ability to install the software on up to five Macs. But this is only in writing. Other than that legal contract, there’s nothing stopping you from installing a copy of Leopard on more than one Mac. Sure, it’s not legally or morally right, but who cares if you’re breaking a licensing agreement with a company that is having multi-billion dollar quarters? Trust me, Apple will not struggle if you do things like this.
