The Lectro-Treat surface treat plastics unlike any other type of treatment methods. The Lectro-Treat plasma discharge surface treats plastics parallel to the plastics surface to be treated. All other methods of surface treatment have to impinge on the surface to be treated. Due to many factors this impingement method can penetrate too deep into the surface of the plastic part. This will cause a weakened outer boundary of the plastic part. When over treatment happens it will appear that you have little or no adhesion after surface treatment because the weaken outer boundary will fail.
