Yes. The LAN-Cell is tested and shipped with a UL compliant AC power supply. However, you can power the unit directly from a 12V DC source such as a battery or solar cell. Your source must deliver a constant 12V DC and be able provide a current draw of up to 10W. The LAN-Cells power connector is a standard 2.1mm jack with positive (+) on the center pin. Compatible 2.1mm plugs include Mouser P/N 171-2110 (straight) and P/N 171-3215 (right angle).
