See the first question and answer above. The lake is being stocked to restore fish populations. That means that all age classes must be supported by first stocking with juveniles. Rainbow are not stocked. They are from a population that has been in the lake since 1926. Large cutthroat are present in the lake right now so anglers really do not have to wait to catch large fish.
