Can the KODAK DCP 9000 show trapping?
Not at this time. The KODAK DCP 9000 is currently only capable of proofing composite files. To show trap you need to be able to proof pre-separated files. We are planning on offering this feature in future product upgrades and/or products. Workarounds are available today using commercially available software such as Adobe TrapWise. • Can images be tiled? No. • Can the KODAK DCP 9000 only be driven by a Mac platform? No, system level drivers are supplied by Kodak for the Macintosh, Windows 3.1x and UNIX Systems. There may be additional drivers supplied by third parties for other platforms in the future. • Is the KODAK DCP 9000 OPI compatible? The system has been successfully tested on a limited number of leading OPI servers. • Can I proof DCS files?
