Can the iSnug 2-Pack Set be used for the 60 GB Video iPod?
Yes! The iSnug has been enhanced so as to work with Apple’s 60 and 30 GB Video iPods. Be aware that certain iSnugs may need a minor modification to accommodate headphone jack. You can easily accomplish this by doing the following: 1. Remove the EVA foam insert. 2. Make a small mark on the foam where the headphone jack is situated. 3. Use a utility knife to cut about a 5/8″ wide slit in the foam. Avoid cutting completely through the bottom of the foam. 4. Remove the foam piece, and put it in the old headphone gap. 5. Place the foam insert into your iSnug case again. 6. Voila! Your iSnug is now compatible with the Video iPod! Most current shipping iSnugs will contain two cutouts, allowing compatibility with all full-sized iPods regardless of the headphone jack location. Note that the iSnug is is also compatible with the iPod classic.
