The Iranian elections are coming up and so far President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is not looking so strong. In fact, he may be beatable, even with his incumbent status, control of the media, and efforts to undermine the democratic process. Iran’s President has been rejected by Hezbollah, and they are seriously considering rejecting his demands to use them as proxies for the Iranian Military and Political Objectives. The people of Lebanon rejected Hezbollah due to their funding ties and direction from Iran. Now the Iranian people want their economy back, their country back, and to live in the Great Persian Empire that once was without the radical elements that alienate them from the rest of the world.
