Yes. iPhone/Touch apps are normally much smaller than iPad’s screen, so the iPad provides a “2x” enlargement button that doubles their graphics to take up most (but not all) of the iPad’s screen. There are occasional glitches; for example, we’ve seen the Facebook app mix up its alignment when iPad rotates. Developers modify their existing apps to support both iPhone and iPad, or can create new apps just for iPad.
