While possible, connecting to a dial-up line is not recommended since it does not take advantage of the broadband capabilities offered by 802.11b. It is possible to configure the Hotspot Networking System to allow for dial-up fallback if the broadband connection fail. However, in this case, ISDN fallback would be preferred over dial-up fallback.
