Can the holder of a CAMO approval also hold a Part 145 approval?
Yes if the applicant meets the requirements for both approvals. However, the organisation (CAMO) that manages the continuing airworthiness of a specific aircraft must be independent from the organisation (Part 145) that actually maintains the aircraft. This means that the same individual may not be the responsible manager for both organisations.
