• A: Yes the cleaner burning (low O2 content) flame usually makes brazing and soldering easier by reducing or eliminating the need for flux, • It doesn t scatter the flux around like a conventional torch due to the lower flame pressure. • The kit even comes with an air-acetylene tip, which is like a plumbers Turbo torch , however most people prefer the normal welding tips. • The hotter, more concentrated flame allows faster heating of the joint to be brazed or soldered so less heat transfers to unwanted areas sometimes reducing or eliminating the need for heat sink compounds or devices. • Brass and copper (copper wire) flows well without flux.
