Can the GMX device be mounted on Horizontal and/or Vertical pipes?

It does not matter. The GMX device can be mounted at any angle and in any position. Just make sure the water flow, through all the GMX devices of your system, is the same direction. IE: In the “G” and out the “X” or visa-versa. See pictures here: Cold Water and Hot Water.
