Can the glass art be free-standing or hung from the cross-beams over the interior street?

The glass artwork here is not intended for the interior lobby and we do not want forms suspended from the I-beam transoms over the interior street. The glass artwork is really intended to replace the two windows. Ideally, the edges of the artwork should be able to be glazed into the existing mullions. However, other means of attachment are possible, as outlined above. If you have a specific variation in mind and would like to run it by the architect and/or owner, let us know and we’ll examine the possibility.
