Can the gasifier be transported?
Yes. The gasifier and the gen-set engine can be placed on skids and transported from one biomass site to another. This is unlike most other biomass to energy technologies that are much larger and are virtually impossible to dismantle and move. Thus there is no concern that assets will become stranded if transportation sensitive feedstock supplies with low bulk density are no longer available near the plant.
