Can the Fulcrum K9 be sharpened on the spine?
Indeed the K-9 can be sharpened on top of the Tanto point. (only the few inches on top of the point where the lower edge meets the upper edge). The user cannot sharpen the whole back of the knife as at a certain point the knife blade, where it is rectangular, becomes too thick to be sharpened properly. Also, the sharpening on the top must be done by professional sharpener. Please also be reminded that because this is done outside Extrema Ratio and by someone we do not know, the warranty will not cover any damage that may occur during this procedure.
