No. To accomplish this, one would need an external master sync generator with timecode insert/sync function. This would then feed FS-2’s reference input to ensure that playback of prerecord video was synchronous to current externally generated timecode. FS-2 can record external timecode, and output the timecode upon playback of the encoded file. The FS-2 cannot do real-time codec transfer of the input timecode, passed through the FS-2 DV output. The file must first be encoded, then played back from the FS-2.
