Can the fingerprints scanned on a TouchStation be backed up after they are enrolled?

0

The TouchStation is only being used to make time tracking more convenient and secure. Although the unit initially scans employee fingers during enrollment, it DOES NOT STORE AN EXACT COPY OF THE FINGERPRINT. During enrollment the TouchStation processes the employees’ finger scan and stores only the unique features in a file called a template. These files cannot be backed up separately from doing a normal backup of the PayClock Database. In the event of these files becoming damaged to where an employee cannot punch, employees will need to be re-enrolled.
